A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its result. We do not keep a local log of those search terms.

Marlboro County Criminal History does not host, compile, or sell a personal criminal-record database. It publishes general directions to the Sheriff's Office, courts, SLED Central Record Repository, South Carolina Department of Corrections, and South Carolina Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report, and the site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
